Carrie Mis-Lietz is the Clinical Care Coordinator for Dr Dwight Tyndall. She has enjoyed working with Dr Tyndall’s patients for over a decade. Carrie’s career is and always has been dedicated to providing high-quality care centered on her patients and their needs. This dedication to patients and care for others began early in her life. In elementary school, Carrie successfully gave her brother the Heimlich maneuver after he began choking on a butterscotch candy. From there, she volunteered at St. Margaret’s Hospital during high school. In 1999, Carrie furthered her passion and became a licensed LPN. Ultimately, she continued her education by completing the RN program at Indiana University Northwest. Prior to joining Dr Tyndall, Carrie served the community as an RN at Gary Methodist Northlake Hospital in the emergency room for almost 10 years.
Carrie’s current responsibilities with Dr Tyndall include scheduling surgeries, patient education, and pre and post-operative care. Most importantly, she serves as a patient liaison, which allows her to provide support to patients and family, ensuring smooth transitions from surgery, and advocating for patient needs. Her interests include traveling with her husband, curling up with a good book, and spending quality time with her dogs Flea and Tick.

“Was very personable from the first time I meet him! Always concerned about what was going on before and after my surgery. His nurse Kerri is always pleasant and nice to talk to. Had to call her a couple of times, and she had no problem calling me back every time I called! And helped me with all my questions. She took time on her day off to bring my neck brace to the surgery center, because she had to order one because they were out of my size. That just goes to show the Big Hearts they have for their patients that they take care of and help! Both are Awesome!”
